To learn, children need to be willing to pay attention, exert effort, persist in the face of difficulty and deal with the frustration of not understanding or getting something right for the first time.

One of the greatest benefits of a cooperative preschool is that it allows you to be directly involved with your child's early education. Participating in your child's education is not only rewarding but also provides a sense of fellowship and community between the families of Linda Beach.

Linda Beach offers a traditional preschool approach, which emphasizes the development of each child through independent and group play activities. Teachers follow the National Association for the Education of Young Children's framework for best practices in early childhood education. While an academic curriculum is not the focus of the school, care is given to gently guide children toward kindergarten readiness. A nurturing atmosphere promotes social development, allowing children to expand their awareness of themselves and others. As they progress through the program, play activities are structured to encourage the children to sit and listen for longer periods of time, follow increasingly complex instructions, and express themselves clearly.
